Crisp Pink
Pelargonium englarianum
P. englarianum is so obviously built to conserve water: thin, woody stems and small, stiff leaves. It produces plenty of bright pink flowers as well.

The Strangely Tall And Narrow Cinnamon Rose
Pelargonium 'Cinnamon Rose'
Cinnamon Rose is a spicy scented geranium. It resembles the rest of the Rose scenteds, but look below at how it refuses to spread out! Cinnamon Rose is fully covered with branches and leaves, but remains upright and compact compared to others of its clan.

Mint-Scented Rose
Pelargonium 'Mint-Scented Rose'
Mint-Scented Rose is an especially pretty scented geranium. It has thick, compact growth that always looks good - a perfect container plant. The foliage closely resembles P. 'Lady Plymouth' (rose scented), but they don't smell the same! As the name suggests, Mint-Scented Rose has a light mint scent. There is also another scented geranium named P. 'Mint Rose'. It has a solid green leaf.

Pelargonium x fragrans
Pelargonium x fragrans - Nutmeg Scented Geranium
P. x fragrans grows as a neat, compact plant with small grayish-green leaves. It has a spicy nutmeg scent. When it blooms, it is a delightful sight: tiny white flowers float above the leaves on long stems like a swarm of tiny butterflies.

Pelargonium 'Lime'
Pelargonium 'Lime'
P. 'Lime' has a definite lime scent to its crinkly-edged leaves. Lime will develop into a large plant. It produces lovely lavendar flowers in the spring.

Pelargonium 'Ginger'
Pelargonium 'Ginger'
P. 'Ginger' is an upright plant with crisp scalloped leaves. Ginger has a pleasant spicy scent.
My experience with Ginger is that it is very easy and unpicky to grow. If you cut it back occasionally, it will develop into a more shapely bush. Be sure to root your cuttings for your friends!

Pelargonium 'Dr. Livingstone'
P. 'Dr. Livingstone' is also known as Skeleton Leaf or Skeleton Rose geranium. The beautiful lacey leaves carry a strong lemon-rose scent. Dr. Livingstone is an upright, well-mannered plant. Pinch the center when you plant is 8"-12" tall, turn it weekly and it will grow into a perfectly round ball.
Dr. Livingstone is not an eager bloomer in my experience. I grew it for three years before I ever saw it bloom. The tiny flowers are pale pink with maroon spots on the top petals.

Pelargonium grossularioides - Coconut Scented Geranium
P. grossularioides is a fun plant with a delightful coconut scent. Its ripply round leaves all grow out of the center. Also from the center come long tendrils with little plantlets and teeny-tiny little purple-red flowers. It blooms throughout the spring, summer and fall and produces seeds with little fuzzy "parachutes". I was surprised - happily - to find Coconut geranium seedlings in some of my other potted plants.

Pelargonium 'Chocolate Mint'

P. 'Chocolate Mint' has large fuzzy leaves with a brown spot in the center. Its cascading growth habit makes it a perfect candidate for hanging baskets or large planters.

My Fair Fruticosimum
Pelargonium fruticosimum is a pungent scented geranium
P. fruticosimum loves to bloom! It has flowers almost all the time. The foliage is interesting - very narrow and finely divided. It is touchy about getting over-dry. I have to grow it where the sprinklers can "rain" on it. Well worth the trouble. Not to give Fruticosimum a bad reputation! I suspect that in a more humid climate, it would be practically trouble free!
P. fruticosimum is a show-off.

Flowers In Her Hair
Pelargonium limoneum: lemon-lime scented geranium
P. limoneum is downright seductive with her wild, windblown hair. She is a heavy bloomer and produces seed. The best news about this scented geranium is that it is super-easy to grow and very heat tolerant.
P. limoneum produces plenty of hot pink flowers.
